14.2 Viewfinder

The viewfinder is located at the bottom of the text card. It gives the reader a graphical overview of the hierarchical context of the actual node (figure I.78).

The icon at the left side of the viewfinder depicts the chapter to which the actual node belongs. The long bar at the right shows the hierarchical context. The actual node is shown in white, the nodes to the right and to the left of the actual node are show as horizontal gray bars. The left and right orientation is in relation to the main path which is based on the original ordering of the nodes in the textbook. The height of a bar represents the hierarchy level of the node with level-one-nodes having the highest bars.
