PBL Wavelets
Parametric Band Limited (PBL) Wavelet Interface
The PBL wavelet interface allows the specification of a parameterized family of analyzing wavelets and a corresponding filter bank. Analyzing wavelets are specified directly in the frequency domain by three parameters: order, bandwidth (BW), and center frequency (CF). Below is shown the result of making a PBL filter bank with parameters
- bandwidth BW=10
- center frequency CF = 40
- order N = 8
The figure below illustrates four members of the parametric family with CF=20, BW=20, and N=0,3,6, and 9.
