allprogs:
lists the help text of all (compiled) programs.

pl-scripts:

The scripts starting with pl call analyse programs and generate plots.
Execute "plall" to see a short description of all pl-scripts.
"plall -l" prints the help texts of all pl-scripts.

lb:

list backup directory (useful when using mbackup).

mbackup:

creates an incremental backup of the MCTDH directory.
First copy the whole MCTDH directory (excluding objects and excutale
files) with mdircp to some backup location (to be specified through the
environment variable MCTDH_BACHUP and then make incremantal backups by
runing mbackup.

mdircp:

copies a MCTDH directory to a new location, excluding all those files
which are not on the original package (e.g. object, *~, *.dvi files).

mcb:

MCTDH Code Browser. Displays (sub)routines, functions, scripts
and MCTDH-files. (see mcb -h).

mcg:

MCTDH Code Grep. Finds strings or regular expressions in
MCTDH Fortran files. Uses egrep. (see mcg -h).

mcl:

MCTDH Code List. Prints a list displaying the number of files,
lines and words, and the number of routines of the MCTDH source-files.

mdiff:

version-file-diff. This script compares two MCTDH directories and lists
the files which appears in only one of the two directories, but not in
the other one.

vsdiff, vddiff, vrdiff:

version-source-diff, version-documentation-diff, version-rest-diff;
these shell-scripts compare the fortran source files, the .html and .tex
documentation files and the rest (bin, install, operators, input, etc).

ddiff:

ddiff is useful for comparing several ASCII files (see ddiff -h).
ddiff is used by vsdiff, vddiff, and vrdiff.

mfind:

mfind finds all files of the MCTDH directory that are recently
modified. The object directory and the bin/$platform(s) directories
are ignored as well as all files with the ending ~.
mfind can also copy these files to a directory and may tar this directory.

mdistribute:

copies the files from a directory made by mfind to the mctdh directory.
The pair mfind/mdistribute is very helpful if you make changes of the mctdh
code 'at home'.

mhelp:

mhelp displays the MCTDH input-file keywords. It is not a substitute for
the online HTML documentation, but if you just forgot the precise
name of a keyword, it can be very useful.

menv:

menv shows the MCTDH environment variables and the PATH.

mvobsolete:

mvobsolete moves all files *_bk[0-9][0-9] *_md[0-9][0-9] and *~ to the
directory obsolete. mvobsolete runs over all the MCTDH tree.
It is particularly useful for mdistribute and getrsync users.

mklins:

mklinks creates links pointing from $MCTDH_DIR/sorce/surfaces to
/usr/people/mctdh/addsurf . If your addsurf directory is not located
under /usr/people/mctdh/ , change the default path by editing the
script (line 10) or overwrite the default path with the -f option.

elk_test, elk_test_gen:

elk_test starts several MCTDH runs and compares their output with the
output generated by elk_test_gen. This confirms that changes to the
program do not alter the results.
