Generalized Minimum Variance controller synthesis

Syntax

Description

[Qon,Qod] = gmvc(A,Bk,k,Cd,Er,Pcn,Pcd,Fck,Fcd) computes the numerator and denominator of the optimal generalized minimum variance such that the cost function

is minimized, and subject to the linear plant, disturbance and reference models:

[Qon,Qod] = gmvc(A,Bk,Dk,Cd,Er,Pcn,Pcd,Fck,Fcd) computes the GMV controller for MIMO plants (in RMF format) using Polynomial Toolbox. Dk in this case is a diagonal polynomial matrix of pure delays or could also be given as a scalar (common delay).

[Qon,Qod,F,G,H,Df,Dc] = gmvc(...) returns also the solution to the Diophantine equations and the spectral factors.
