Sum of products of discrete-time polynomials by their adjoints.
Syntax
Description
If P1,P2,... are vectors of coefficients representing discrete-time polynomials
, then this function returns one half of the mirror-image discrete-time polynomial obtained by multiplying polynomials
by their adjoints
and adding them together.
If P1,P2,... are polynomial matrices in in Polynomial Toolbox format, then Q is a para-hermitian polynomial matrix corresponding to the summation
. The necessary shifts are performed on the input arguments to make the output para-hermitian. Pure delays are also accounted for. In case the additional input argument ‘cof’ is used, the output changes to
