In order to run this database retrieval program without problems by means of your WWW browser,
some fundamental settings are necessary.
Proxy-Settings of your Browser
It is recommended to set up your preferences, that your browser always accesses the data
in the Internet directly.
However, if you access the Internet via a proxy server, then local
addresses must be excluded. A PFS2001 application addresses
the own computer via the IP 127.0.0.1. Please check your preferences:
Netscape: Edit/Preferrences/Advanced/Proxies/Manual Proxy Configuration/View/Exceptions -> Please add here http://127.0.0.1/
Internet Explorer 4.x: View/Internet Options/Connection/Circumwent proxy server for local addresses -> Please select.
Internet Explorer 5.x: Extras/Internet Options/Connections/LAN-Settings/Circumwent proxy server for local addresses -> Please select.
