This tutorial describes the use of a dynamically linked library (DLL) written in a language as C/C++ or Fortran within XploRe. There are reasons, why linking a DLL can be useful:
Note, that the DLL mechanism has only been tested with Solaris (Sun), Linux (PC) and Windows 95/NT (PC).
Whenever we refer here to "dynamically linked library" we mean "dynamic linked library" under Windows and "shared object library" under Unix/Linux.
