XploRe's spatial statistics quantlets starting with the letters SPKR and SPPP have been adapted from Venables and Ripley (1999). In fact, the C-code from Venables and Ripley (1999) has been linked to XploRe through a DLL. Additionally required XploRe quantlets follow the original S-Plus code from Venables and Ripley (1999) as closely as possible. Also, the sample data sets, topo.dat and pines.dat have been taken from Venables and Ripley (1999). Please check this reference and the related Web site at http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/pub/MASS3/ for more details.
Before using any of the XploRe spatial statistics quantlets based on Venables and Ripley (1999), please read the License in the following Section. If you do not agree with the conditions stated therein, do not use any of the quantlets beginning with SPKR and SPPP from the XploRe library for spatial statistics.
