This directory contains the various test images required in raw format.

Note that the extensions for various files read as .p01, .phs etc.
This is done to provide easy identification of the contents of the image
from its extension. For example, for a dskw (whole disk) problem,

dskw.p01, dskw.p02 contain the six phase shifting images.
dskw.phs contains the phase map and so on.

Some standard packages demands that the extension to be only
.raw and it may not load the image properly.

Let us say that you face a problem in loading
dskw.phs properly. Then change the file name as
dskw.phs.raw and then try to load the image. This way you can view
the images using standard image processing packages.

However, if you decode the software to other hardware platforms
retaining the image extensions as listed in the directory would be
simpler and powerful to have a proper book keeping of the images.
