Parcellation
of the white matter by the DTI-based color maps. Homogeneous-looking brain
white matter can be parcellated into different tract systems depending on
their orientations (colors). The left image shows a color map of a coronal
slice and the right shows an axial slice at the location shown by a pink
box. Abbreviations are; slf: superior longitudinal fasciculus, ilf: inferior
longitudinal fasciculus, cg: cingulum, cc: corpus callosum, cst: corticospinal
tract, scp: superior cerebellar peduncle, mcp: middle cerebellar peduncle,
icp: inferior cerebellar peduncle, and ml: medial lemniscus. |
