Gato's Evolution

Gato was developed as part of the project CATBox (the Combinatorial Algorithm Toolbox - an interactive course on discrete mathematics) which will be published by Springer Verlag. Until summer 1998 we did not distuingish between Gato and CATBox, but then decided that breaking CATBox up into two clearly distinguishable parts and making as much as we can publicly and freely available would be a good idea.

Now, Gato is freely available, CATBox is not.
