Gato has been developed as part of the project CATBox (the Combinatorial Algorithm Toolbox - an interactive course on discrete mathematics) which will be published by Springer Verlag.

CATBox and Gato have a long and winding history, which involved a lot of people.

But in the end we came up with a really great tool for teaching algorithms. Check out the examples or the video examples.
