Background: Set the background color to specified color. Click
the left mouse button on the colored field to open a color dialog that allows
you to pick a color by the mouse. You can also define the RGB values of the
color directly at the text fields to the right of the colored field.
Foreground: Same as Background just for the
foreground color.
Width / Height: Specifies the width and height of the
selected display in pixels.
Background Image
Show: Switches visibility of background image on/off.
Display: Display options, you may tessellate the
background with the image in original size, show the image centered
in original size or resize the image to fit the dimensions of the
display.
Image File: Here you can specify the image that shall be
shown.
Auto Rotate: If auto rotate is selected the last mouse
action is repeated. The name 'rotate' is misleading because actions like
scale and translation are repeated as well.
Show Axes:
Displays coordinate axes. It adds geometries to the displays for each
coordinate and one additional that represents all of them. Select one of
these geometries and invoke Inspector-Object-Configure to configure
the appearance and behaviour.
Show Bounding Box: Shows a
cuboid with the extend of the selected geometry.
Show Depth: Enables/disables shading of elements, vertices,
edges depending on the distance to the projection plane.
Show Axis Frame: A coordinate frame is shown in the lower
left corner, that describes the coordinate axes of the world.
Show XY-Grid: If enabled a white plane with
gray grid lines that lies in the x-y-plane is virtually added to the visible
geometries. Most useful for 2-dimensial geometries viewed from top.
Enable Sorting: Enables/disables a z-sort of all object
parts (elements, vertices) before they are drawn to the display in order
highest distance first.
Show Edge Aura: Creates an empty space around
all edges. So edges do not cross anymore.
Enable Clear Screen:
Clear the drawing area before repaint.
Enable Z-Buffer (beta):
Switches z-buffer on/off. That should solve any problems with intersecting
elements.
Single / Multiple Geometries: If single geometry is
switched on then only the selected geometry is shown.
Visible Geometries: All selected geometries out of this list
of available geometries are visible at the same time. Select or de-select
geometries to make them visible or invisible.
Active Geometry: The selected / active geometry is the geometry that
receives user interactions like picking. The active project is also
determined by this geometry.
Merge Visible: All geometries
that have currently the visibility status (and are therefore visible in the
active display) are merged together to one single geometry. This operation is
not undoable! If the geometries have different types then the smallest common
type is chosen for the result (e.g. a point set and an element set will be
merged into a point set).
Duplicate Geometry: After pressing
the button you may select the geometry that shall be duplicated from the
active / visible geometries list.
Delete Geometry: After
pressing the button you may select the geometry that shall be deleted from
the active / visible geometries list.
Center / Fit / Reset: See Inspector-Camera.
