The Acrobat file contains simple navigational tools that allow you to easily find figures referenced in the book, either by consulting the file's Contents listing, or by stepping sequentally through the figures. You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 4.0 or higher) to read the file. If this is not already loaded on your computer, you may download it from Adobe's website: www.adobe.com. Follow Adobe's instructions for installation. By default the Acrobat file will open in "full-screen mode", filling the entire extent of your screen. To exit this display mode, press Esc or Ctrl-L on your keyboard and the standard Acrobat interface will appear, from which you can print the figures or exit the program. The PDF file is designed for best display with screen resolutions of 800x600, 1024x768, and 1152x864 pixels.
