The ELM is a regional scale ecological model designed
to predict the landscape response to different water management
scenarios in south Florida, USA. The
ELM simulates changes to the hydrology,
soil & water nutrients, periphyton biomass & community type, and
vegetation biomass & community type in
the Everglades region.
