Download ELM Project
If you would like to acquire the ELM source code and/or data, please provide us with some information to help us be aware of your interest:
To acquire the entire ELM project and build a running version on your local file system, you must download
all three of the following items and read the directions in this readme file
(also in the third download):
Download of this information constitutes acceptance of our disclaimer.
- Input data - all
input data required to run the ELM simulation (ELM.data.2.1a.tar.gz =7,474,908 bytes)
- Source code - all
source code files, makefile, scripts required to build an ELM project on your local file system (ELM.src.2.1a.tar.gz =691,512 bytes)
- Script & readme - a single
script that (safely) automates the creation of an ELM project on your local file system, plus a Word document simply describing
the 10-steps toward building and running the ELM (buildProj.tar.gz =4,255 bytes)
Please review the detailed documentation for a full description of the ELM code and data.
The following desktop (Mac or Windows) databases and spreadsheet greatly enhance the user's ability to explore the data used in ELM.
- Low level metadata
- a database of metadata, documenting the filenames of every ELM code/application
and data file, their purposes, locations, etc. (Filemaker Pro database, ELMfile_metadata2_1a.zip =41 Kb)
- Structure info - attributes of all
water control structures driving the model (Filemaker Pro database, Structs_attr.zip =257 Kb)
- Habitat-specific parameters - values and documentation of parameters
for all habitat types (Filemaker Pro database, HabParms2_1a.zip =90 Kb)
- Global parameters - values and documentation of parameters
that do not vary with habitat type (Excel spreadsheet, GlobalParms2_1a.zip =22 Kb)
For a free 30-day trial copy of FileMaker Pro software needed for the databases, see the Filemaker Inc.'s download
