1. Installation
---------------
On most computer systems the installation procedure starts
automatically after inserting the CD. Alternatively, the program
SETUP.exe may be started manually (the file is located in
"Programs" sub-directory on this CD).

2. Technical Specifications
---------------------------
The CD may be used with the following operating systems:
Microsoft Windows 98, 2000, XP, ME, NT 4.0
Microsoft Windows 95: see item "Product Information".

The recommended minimal configuration is: 64 MB RAM; DVD-ROM drive;
Pentium-class processor 200 MHz or compatible; display resolution
800x600 or higher; 200 Mb disk space.

3. Deinstallation
-----------------
The provided uninstall tool removes all files, icons, etc. that
have been created during the installation procedure. Files created
later on (e.g., outputs of the programs) have to be deleted
manually.

4. Product information
----------------------
The CD is - to the best of our knowledge - very easy to use for all users
equipped with a Windows 98 operating system or a later Windows version. The
CD is in particular self-starting for these users.

Users equipped with a Windows 95 system have to read the *.pdf
files on the CD with their own Acrobat reader (the Acrobat reader
provided on the CD is not compatible with Windows 95). Also, the
program SETUP.exe (located in the CDs "Programs" sub-directory)
has to be started manually under Windows 95 in order to install
the program system "Celestial Mechanics".

Under Windows 95 the program system "Celestial Mechanics" requires
one additional Microsoft Runtime Library - MSVCRT.DLL. This
library must be present either in the "BIN" subdirectory of our
program system or in a directory that is searched for executables.
The library is freely available on Internet.

More information concerning the two Volumes "Celestial Mechanics" and the
program system associated with them are available under the web-address
