Philosophy
VILAB gives our
students the possibility to interactively test and extend their
knowledge in selected areas of computer science.
To reach this goal it is important to provide each
student with immediate feedback to his solution, so he can
find and correct possible errors on the spot. Classic ways of
distance teaching via letters sent by post or email are inappropriate
to this end due to the considerable delay between the students'
efforts and the respective feedback.
Students working on our computer-based exercises
get instant feedback corresponding to their success or failure. So
they can, in case of a mistake, retry immediately until they
succeed.
