The contents of this CD have been prepared by most of the contributors of the `Intelligent Multimedia Data Hiding: New Directions' book in order to complement the information provided in their corresponding chapters.

1. Technical Specifications

- Hardware and Operating System requirements: 256 MB RAM; CD-ROM drive, PC with Pentium processor 2.13 GHz or compatible; Microsoft Windows XP.

- Monitor set-up: "800X600" pixel or above, high colour ("16" bit or above) colour depth; setting the display to a colour depth of at least "16"-bit is required for proper screen display.

- Other requirements: Visual C++ compiler; Boland C++ compiler; GNU C++ compiler; Matlab 6.0 or later versions; Cygwin (See `readme.txt' under \IMDH\Demo\Ch05\).



2. Installation

Please copy all the sub-directories in this CD into the directory set by yourself. For example, copy all the sub-directories into `D:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\IMDH\Demo\'



3. Deinstallation

For deinstallation, please delete all the files under the directory set by yourself. For example, delete the directory `D:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\IMDH\Demo\'



4. Product information

Source codes or executables from five chapters of this book are placed in the CD.

    4.a For the files in \IMDH\Demo\Ch04\, please follow `readme.txt' in this directory, compile with C++ compiler, and run the executables under Windows XP envirenment.

    4.b For the files in \IMDH\Demo\Ch05\, please follow `readme.txt' in this directory, compile with C++ compiler, and run the executables under the command line envirenment in Windows XP.
        Executables in \IMDH\Demo\Ch05\ are ready for running the results.

    4.c For the files in \IMDH\Demo\Ch08\, please follow `About_this.pdf' in this directory, and run the self-execution files under Windows XP envirenment.

    4.d For the files in \IMDH\Demo\Ch11\, please run the executables under Windows XP envirenment.

    4.e For the files in \IMDH\Demo\Ch13\, please run the `*.m' files with Matlab 6.0 or later versions, under Windows XP envirenment.



5. Help

If you experience any problems during the installation please compare the technical specifications with the requirements mentioned above. Otherwise please contact the authors in the corresponding chapters, or reach the editor with the information below:
