This folder contains following files:
1. daily-calculations-Ho.xls: An excel workbook to calculate the daily 
	extraterrestrial solar radiation on horizontal surface.
2. monthly-mean-daily-calculations-Ho.xls: An excel workbook to calculate the 
	monthly mean daily extraterrestrial solar radiation on horizontal 
	surface.
3. monthly-mean-daily-quad-parameters-workbook.xls: This workbook calculates
	the monthly parameters tau_e and tau_ec and also the coefficients
	a0, a1 and a2 of the quadratic correlation explained in section 4.3.
	The results of Table 5.2 is calculated by this workbook.
4. monthly-mean-daily-comparison-workbook.xls: This workbook calculates the 
	monthly mean daily global solar radiation using equation 5.33 of 
	Chapter 10 for a location. MBE and RMSE values are also calculated.
5. modelYangetal.zip: This file contains the fortran code of the model of 
	Yang et al explained in section 4.2 of Chapter 5.

Excel files are self-explanatory and latitude of the location of interest
is the main input.

All information and the related articles are given within the file 
modelYangetal.zip and some explanation are added in readme.doc file 
on how to use the program which is prepared by the owners (Yang et al).
