1. System requirements

In order to view the PDF documents you will need an PDF viewer like the
Adobe Reader®.

For Windows systems, the "\Acrobat" directory of the CD-ROM contains
English installation archives of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Mac OS X and most Linux systems are delivered with their own PDF viewers.
Alternatively, you can install Adobe Reader for Mac OS X or Linux.

The latest updates of Adobe Reader and versions for other systems (e.g.
Mac and Linux) or other language versions can be downloaded from:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html


2. Starting the application

On Windows systems, The application will start automatically after
inserting the CD-ROM in the drive. If the autorun function is deactivated,
open the "start.htm" file in the CD-ROM's main directory.

On Mac OS X or Linux systems, open the "start.htm" file in the CD-ROM's
main directory.

Alternatively, the PDF file with the book, which is located in the
"\Content" directory of the CD-ROM, can be opened directly from your
system's file manager.

Bookmarks are always visible on the left while the program is running.
